Seldom Inn

To celebrate the husband's birthday last week, we spent this past Saturday through Tuesday in the lovely little town of Ouray, Colorado. We're camping folks, but after living for several weeks with no indoor plumbing except a kitchen sink (due to the remodel), I thought we deserved a little treat.

So I rented this little cabin, originally built in 1879. It's called the Seldom Inn.

It's about two blocks off Main Street. More importantly, it was just one block from the Ouray brewery.

And it was right above the river. With a view of the Amphitheater. And a deck that is perfect for grilling and sipping margaritas (even though it rained most of the time we were there).

And it was cute as a bug's ear, right down to the crooked walls and windows!

And they allowed dogs, so Sadie Bug got to go along.

It has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and sleeps 4 adults. And if you ever go to Ouray (which I HIGHLY recommend), I'd recommend this place, available through Ouray Realty. It really is every bit as cute as it seems in the photos!
