More critter cards

Today I planned to do a tutorial on making seed paper animals like the sheep I made for a friend, but I discovered yesterday that I either seriously misplaced half of the photos on my computer or I accidentally deleted them from my camera! I'll take new photos when I make more sheep next week and will post a tutorial soon after that.

So instead of the tutorial, I'll show you a few more of my critter cards. Don't forget to enter to win TWO sets of your very own critter cards. Go here and leave a comment before noon EST tomorrow (Friday the 22nd).

This elephant is one of the most popular critters. I even had one woman from Sweden living in Australia but visiting the US order a large set of him printed in pink to use as invitations for her daughter's Christening.

The squirrel and bunny are among my favorite woodland creatures. And how fitting, because I now have two bunnies AND a squirrel living in the wood pile in front of our house. Apparently Wilbur is a girl and she has a husband now... And a squirrel moved in last weekend and is busy harvesting the walnuts from the tree in the front yard. They. drive. Sadie. NUTS!

And here are a few of my favorite dogs. The Weimaraner/German Shorthair pointer is probably the most popular of the dog breeds (with good reason, in my opinion!).

The border collie and the bull terrier (AKA Spuds McKenzie) are new, but I suspect they'll be pretty popular, too!

If you can't wait for the giveaway tomorrow, you can go to my shop and get your own set now. :)

Wilbur

We have a new animal living on our property. And no, I didn't bring this one home from the feed store against the husband's wishes.

Baby bunny

This one just moved in all on his own.

It's a baby cottontail bunny. An orphan baby cottontail bunny. I haven't seen any siblings, and he's out on his own all the time with no parental supervision.

Baby bunny

He spends his days munching sweet and juicy grass in the shade of our walnut tree, and he cruises around the front yard like he owns the joint.

When I open the front door, he goes roaring back to his home, which is not very conveniently located in a pile of wood scraps right by our front porch.

Baby bunny

He's been here for a few weeks now, and he obviously has no intention of leaving anytime soon. So I decided he needs a name, and he just looks like a "Wilbur" to me. Sadie disagrees, though. She said he looks more like a "Snack" to her.

Baby giraffe

Keeping with today's theme of Sharon Montrose's fantastic animal photos, here's a video on Etsy about her work and how she got started.

I now officially want a baby giraffe like Stanley.

Lamb and piglet

All you animal lovers out there, here's your chance to score one of Sharon Montrose's AMAZING animal prints at a spectacular price!

Find out how to purchase one (if there are any left) at her blog.

I almost (almost!) bought one of each for myself, but I actually had a bit of self control. I'm eyeing up some of the smaller prints in her Etsy shop for our guest room, and I also have my eye on some of her limited edition prints in her other shop (I love all of them but the macaw is spectacular!!). So instead I bought the lamb for a friend of mine. (If you're a friend of mine who raises lambs and you just read this post, please forget I said anything!)
