Furniture cart

Yesterday we drove to Denver to pick up my two latest acquisitions. The first is this 1910 furniture cart from a Thomasville Furniture warehouse. I'm so excited. I've wanted one of these for years, but I never thought I'd find one near me.

Now I have to decide how to reconfigure all of my furniture to incorporate it as my new coffee table!

  1. That is so neat! I have never seen anything like it! I hope you get a lot of use out of it. Looks like a fun addition to the household. :)

  2. LoooooooVE it! So...was it used in a Thomasville factory. Or...did Thomasville buy 'em and fix em up to sell?

Moving the furniture will be a piece of cake to incorporate that beautiful beast!

  3. It was actually used in the furniture warehouse. They'd put the furniture on the cart and roll it from station to station on the assembly line. How cool is that? The guy I bought it from said his parents bought about 50 of the carts and fixed them up for sale. By the time I got mine, they only had about 4 left!
