April showers

We had a lot of showers in April. Oh, sure, they brought some May flowers. In fact, my lamb's ear is going nuts!



I just planted a few small plants last year and it's already time to divide it.



But all those showers also brought weeds galore! Here's what I'm facing in my garden area.







My mom is here visiting so she's watching Lachlan while I attack the field of weeds. Progress is slow. It took me several hours the other day just to uncover my raspberries. But the chickens are in heaven. They lurk close by when I pull out the weeds, ready to jump on any good bugs that I uncover!
