Danger!

I spent this morning's blog-writing time at the grocery store instead of blogging. Lachlan had finally run out of enthusiasm for the sausage patties he's been liking so very much lately, so I bought him a fresh assortment of all sorts of goodies. We got home and he decided he'd rather stick with the sausage, thankyouverymuch.

In the next week or two I'll have his babysitter over a lot to help me out. She's in 8th grade and loves a snack or two when she comes over right after school. So I bought her a fresh assortment of all sorts of goodies.

Like this bag of animal cookies--the kind with the pink and white frosting and the little round sprinkles--which she immediately opened.

Animal cookies

And after grabbing a handful of them, she left the bag sitting there. Open.

And I just went to fix myself a cup of tea. And I saw the bag. Open.

And so I grabbed one. Or two. Or five. I can't remember now. It's all a blur. And now I'm not sure that bag will still be there next time she comes over.

  3. I'd just like everyone to know that the animal cracker cookies are safe, at least for now. Because I've been too busy eating that pound of caramels in the fridge... Oh yes I did! :D
