A few of my favorite (Goober) things

I'm still working on sorting out all of the baby's items and organizing the closets and dressers, trying to get that project finished so that I can move on to some printing projects later this week.

It's been a lot of fun to go through all the bags of clothes I've collected. Here are just a few of my favorite snuggly clothes I have for the little one, which should come in handy for a baby born during the winter in Colorado!

I've collected lots of clothes in browns, creams and blues. I love those colors, and even if we have a girl, I'd have no problem dressing her in some of the blue items I have. This little thing just cracks me up. Notice the bear face and ears on the hood and the little bear feet!

I love the tiny paw prints on the zipper pull of this vest. Cute!

This one was an impulse buy, but I think it will get a lot of use, especially on our walks with Sadie at the park this winter. It is super thick and snuggly.

Aren't they adorable? Does anyone care to wager how long the white ones will stay white? ;)

Those clothes are just the tip of the iceberg. I have a reasonable amount of newborn size clothes, but was shocked to discover the amount of clothes I have for 0-3 and 3-6 months. They are piled high on top of the dresser right now.

I counted more than 24 footed rompers and sleep sacks that are 0-3 months. Whoa, how did that happen? And this doesn't even include all the pants/shirts and onesies I have... I guess my wish of not doing laundry more than once a week really might come true!

I need to buy some hangers to get these clothes in the closet and then finish organizing the shelves. Progress is slow but steady!

  1. So many little things! I love the snowsuits...
There is something about the "feel" of baby clothes...so soft and cuddly, like a baby.
(My boys wore 0-3 months for about 2 weeks ...they were huge and grew so fast, in the beginning. Today, they are all well over 6 ft...with one being 6'4". Gosh, I feel positively small at 5'9"!)

  2. That is a huge fear of mine!! I hate the idea of all of these clothes never even being worn. But the husband is about 5'8" and I'm about 5'1", so I'm hoping the little Goober stays small for a while! :)
